KINGSTON, JAMAICA — Jamaican reggae dancehall artiste Beenie Man who have the past few months been hit by several death hoaxes has finally passed on in Kingston, Jamaica on Tuesday afternoon, local radio reports.
The Grammy award-winning musician’s Zika virus reports accounted for the numerous death hoaxes.
The report did not mention the cause of his death. Close pals have expressed shock as Beenie Man appeared to be very strong a day before his death and had not complained of any sickness.
Real name Anthony Moses Davis, Beenie Man contracted the Zika virus and Dengue about two months ago and underwent a series of blood test, injections and pills after which he recovered.
Though the family has confirmed his death, the cause of his death remains unknown.
The world’s “King of Dancehall” died at 43.
